• Red Sea Scuba Diving Liveaboards

The classic Wrecks and Reef itinerary allows you to take in the most beautiful and colourful reefs and iconic wrecks the Northern Red Sea has to offer. Highlights include the world famous SS. Thistlgorm wreck; Abu Nuhas, otherwise known as the ‘ships graveyard’, home to 4 different but equally as mesmerising wrecks; and of course two of the best known areas in the Red Sea, Tiran and Ras Mohamed National Park. The beauty of this trip is that it also takes in lesser known but possibly more beautiful dive sites such as Gubal Island, Sha’ab Mahmud and Shag Rock, out of reach from the normal daily boats which means empty dive sites and more marine life. On top of this, the itinerary is discussed between the guides, captain and guests on-board so that requests for different areas can be accommodated wherever possible.

With the success of the previous three Southern Red Sea liveaboards in 2017, we've gone ahead and scheduled the next safari for 2018 already. Departing from Port Ghaleb on the 30th of August '18, we'll be off exploring Daedalus, Rocky & Zabargad with a few secret stops along the way in hope of catching site of more manta, hammerheads and the wondeful dugong once again. Red Sea Liveaboards, diving, Sharm el Sheikh

Most of the dives are conducted as drift dives from the rib (with the exception of night dives) which only adds to the adventure; backwards rolling in to the water then a wreck appearing beneath you, what more could you want! And although we can’t guarantee the marine life you’ll see, there is a very good chance of White tip and Grey reef sharks, passing Eagle ray, massive Tuna and the more common Blue Spotted Ray, Giant Moray, Glassfish, Anthias, Batfish, Nudibranch….the list is endless really….not to forget a great possibility of swimming with a pod of dolphins in between dives so there’s lots for snorkelers also!

The trip is best suited to divers of Advanced open water level and above due to the deep nature of some of the dives and wrecks and the potential for some currents. The water temperature at this time of year is around 26 degrees so we recommend a full 5mm suit and a sweatshirt for the evening if the wind picks up. The boat will always moor up in a sheltered area and because we don’t have far to cruise in between the different dive sites, you get lots of time to relax in between dives and fill yourself up on the delicious food and snacks. Divers might find it helpful to know that normal wakeup call is around 6am/6.30am for those choosing to do the early morning dive, but if you feel like having a longer sleep, no problem just let us know the night before and we’ll try not to disturb you.

Eagle Divers Red Sea Holiday Scuba Diving Packages

All divers are required to show valid certification, logbook and to sign a medical statement and liability release form prior to the boat’s departure. If medical clearance is needed (if guest can answer a question with yes) doctor’s clearance must be arranged prior to check-in. Visiting a doctor to get medical clearance might not be possible in Sharm therefore prior clearance should be finalised before travelling. If doctor’s clearance is not provided, guests will not be allowed to join any diving activities.

Guests that have not been diving for more than 1 year before check-in should complete a check dive or PADI Reactivate program and have proof signed in their logbook. Diving activities can be restricted if the guide has any doubts about divers safety and/or qualifications. We strongly recommend all divers to hold valid travel insurance that covers diving activities; the service provider is not liable for their medical treatments in case of an accident or an incident.

Prices are based on sharing a twin cabin however requests for private cabins can be accommodated but do incur an additional charge. Double suites are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and are the same price as twins. All cabins are en-suite with shower facilities.

Places fill up fast for this trip therefore we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking confirmation. A full refund is available up until 3 months before the trip is due to depart, at which point a refund is not available. The remainder of the trip is payable on arrival in Sharm el Sheikh.
