We'll make sure you feel ready to take your first stride in the underwater world and advance those skills at your pace

Discover Red Sea Scuba Diving

What is it?

It does exactly what it says in the title! It’s your opportunity to discover just what it is like to be a scuba diver in the Red Sea with Eagle Divers Egypt without having to take too much time away from the sun lounger whilst on holiday in Sharm El Sheikh.

Group day out trying diving in the Red Sea

By taking the PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme with Eagle Divers Egypt, you’ll be in the safe hands of one of our very experienced Instructors. It’s their job to talk you through each step in preparation for your dive making sure you’re comfortable and excited. They’ll also show you first how to do simple skills like clearing small amounts of water from your mask and, as silly as it sounds, showing you how easy it is to breathe underwater.

You’ll start off in the swimming pool or in confined shallow water before heading out to the main reef where you’ll be surrounded in some of the most colourful fish you’ll ever see. Because it is one-on-one with our instructors you’ll be given as much time underwater as you like (air permitting obviously) to take your time and really explore and enjoy being underwater.

You don’t need to be an athlete pro swimmer to try diving but you do need to be in reasonable shape and at least 10 years old (see bubble maker course for children younger). There’s a medical form at the bottom of the page you can check out for any conditions you may need to get doctors approval first before diving.

What can you do next?

Loved every minute of being underwater? We don’t blame you! After completing the Discover Scuba Diving programme your next step is to become a certified scuba diver so you can dive freely anywhere in the world with other certified divers. Check out the PADI Open Water course or email us now for more details.

Course registration

All student divers of any level are required to complete the PADI medical questionnaire prior to starting course. Any student answering ‘Yes’ to one or more of the questions may require medical clearance prior to commencing in water activities. A copy of the medical form can be found here.
