Becoming a PADI Rescue Diver in the Red Sea
The water might be a little warmer here and with better visability than other countries, but that just adds to the enjoyment of the course rather than making it any easier! The overarching aim of the Rescue Course is to teach you how to prevent problems or when they arise, how to deal with them in the safest, most effective way without putting yourself in danger. The rescue course has to be one of the most fun courses we teach but with a serious message, get ready to put your acting head on!
Alongside the illustrative DVD and course theory, topics you will explore and practice include;
- Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
- Emergency management and equipment
- Rescuing panicked divers
- Rescuing unresponsive divers
All student divers of any level are required to complete the PADI medical questionnaire prior to starting course. Any student answering ‘Yes’ to one or more of the questions may require medical clearance prior to commencing in water activities. A copy of the medical form can be found here. Please note course price excludes PADI Material and Certification fee.
